As Pico NC welcomed the new Dept. of Neighborhood Empowerment (D.O.N.E.) representative, Grayce Liu, to the general board meeting last Wednesday night, she complimented the group on the 'highly functional' status that they have attained. She was impressed with their ability to have rigorous debate while maintaining a respectful and civil exchange.
She also expressed how impressed D.O.N.E. is with their website and recently launched association website empowerment program (including neighborsunited.net!). In fact, D.O.N.E. is planning to redo their own website and will use PICO NC as a model!
Last but not least, they have also looked over Pico NC's new bylaws and are equally impressed. Way to go web folks and bylaws committee!
Scott McNeely, president of the Pico NC, stated, "I am truly proud of what we've accomplished in the last 2-1/2 years and look forward to our continued growth of the organization, empowerment of our neighborhood associations and the betterment of our lifestyle in the Pico NC area."
