Shortage Year Water Rates and Outdoor Watering Restrictions Begin June 1

Southern California is facing a water supply shortage for the third year in a row. As a result, more water conservation is urgently needed.
Beginning June 1, shortage year rates will become effective and will be applied to all LADWP customers. Also, sprinkler use will be restricted to Mondays and Thursdays only.

Water Rates First Tier Allowance
Under Shortage Year Water Rates, first tier allotments are reduced by 15%. Customers can see what their first tier water allotment will be starting June 1 by logging into their account or by calling 1-800-DIAL-DWP and using their CAN number from their bill to access their account information.
